SUPERBASE PROFESSIONAL 4 EXAMPLES
15 March,1991
71
=======================================================================
The Superbase example applications are provided on one 3.5" disk. Some
of the examples are documented in the User Guide, Volume 2, Chapters 21
through 23.
71
The example applications are provided for demonstration purposes only
and should not be assumed to be suitable for commercial use without
further modification. Many of the screens have been created at high
resolution, and some of them may require adjustment with the Form
Designer module for display in other resolutions.
To Print this document, ensure that your printer is connected and
selected, then choose the Print command from this window's File menu.
EXAMPLES DIRECTORY STRUCTURE
----------------------------
The SETUP routine creates the following subdirectories in
SUPERBASEPRO4, which is the Superbase drawer:
IDEAS
INVOICE
MAIL
TRADING
IDEAS, MAIL, and TRADING contain example data and programs relating to
the chapters in the User Guide. These User Guide Applications are
described in more detail below.
User Guide Applications
-----------------------
IDEAS contains a number of example programs relating to Chapter 23,
plus some additional items such as a two-file dBase application, which
you may examine either by opening files and browsing or by running the
query CLITEL.SBQ.
MAIL contains a USA oriented Mailing List Management application,
driven entirely by a DML program. User access is fully controlled by
the program. The application is described in Chapter 21.
TRADING contains a system for the hypothetical Superbase Securities
Trading firm. This shows how a professional business systems analyst
could use Superbase to develop a full-scale database application. The
application is described in Chapter 23.
